I need the plugin CustomHardcore to be updated from 1.8.1 to 1.9.4. I would really appreciate if someone would do this for me! It is for my server, The Happy Anarchist, and it revolves around a deathban with separate ban times for each multiverse world. This plugin will accomplish this. Thanks!

@bestaliasever Link? Server logs to prove that it needs an update?

@bestaliasever I would not be able to tell you that, but that was a problem I had with some of my plugins. (The server would act like it wasn't even a plugin) But when I upgraded to Java 8 it worked.

Ok thanks! Ill find out how.

I don't know what version of java my server is running, but I don't want to mess up the existing plugins by updating java. Is this a valid concern?

No, any plugins made for Java 6/7 will work with Java 8. By the way, is your server hosted at a hosting company?

If the .jar file is in the plugins directory, it should show some kind of error.
Could you post the log anyways?
Just restart it and then post the "latest.log" from the "<server dir>/logs" folder. The log in the console is not necessarily complete.

@AlvinB It is hosted by MineSpan. I feel kinda silly now, I didn't have it installed! Now it is installed, but I'm not really sure how to use the config (I don't know what a world "group" is). Now it is showing up in the server logs, and it should work. Here is the default config, could someone tell me how to use it? The bukkit page is somewhat helpful, but being new to plugins, I would appreciate some help. Thanks guys!

    timezone: "Europe/Amsterdam"
    worldConfig:
    groups:
    default:
    alias: Default
    hardcoreGroup:
    alias: Hardcore Worlds
    worlds:
    - HardcoreWorld
    - HardcoreWorld_nether
    - HardcoreWorld_the_end
    config:
    enabled: true

UPDATE: Nevermind guys, it's working and working well! I got it. Thanks for your help!

@bestaliasever Want to mark this thread as filled? I clicked it thinking it was still needing to be updated.
