Essentials Chat Group Format Not Working

My Essentials Chat group formats are not showing chat as a color. It shows the display name and faction but not the color of chat.

I have essentials.jar and essentialschat.jar downloaded.

CAN ANYONE HELP???

I would not use Essentials anymore since it doesn't support 1.9. Instead, use the plugin EssentialsX, as it support 1.9. All you have to do is replace the Essentials jar files with the new ones... That's it.
