Solved How to show players an "ActionBar" ..?

Hi there bukkit brothers,
I wondered how you can show a message above the held item tooltip because it is used on many servers.
Maybe it's not understandable, so I upload some screenshots right here ^_^




I captured them on german servers, so just don't think about that!

If you know how to make these messages please reply!

The bar above the held item tooltip, the one you circled with red, is called the action bar. Plugins like <Edit by Moderator: Redacted not allowed paid resource url> allow you to show messages in there (but there are many more plugins for it).

Well, I looked at some of these plugins and it's pretty awesome that Bukkit can do something like this, but how does this work exactly? I know you have to send a packet to a player, but can anyone explain it to me?

@Lynron There are APIs that allow you to easily send actionbars, like this one. If you want to do it straight with packets then I think you need to send a regular chat packet, but set the slot to another value (details here).
