Edit | Never mind. I'm not experienced with this type of stuff :c

 

Like an animated MOTD. I would like it so in the config there are frames. When I reload the plugin (or restart server) The server would play the frames in that order (frame1, frame2, frame3)

UPDATE/ SOMETHING-I-LEARNED:
I knew this for a while but I forgot to post it. I know the MOTD animation feature was removed in 1.8.4. If anyone could make this for me with 1.8.3 or 1.8.4 that would be great since I know it is possible.
I also know this may help.

Ok, I know absolutely nothing about this, but anyone who can connect to a 1.8.3 server, can connect with 1.8.4+. That means only below players could see that. Thats quite annoying to those players, because one guy could go on and say:
"Hey bob! look at that SWAG animated motd!" and Bob would say "Animated what?" because he wont be able to see it, due to it being still to him. It would be quite useless because of this. So, while yet, someone COULD make this, there's a slim chance they will, because it would be a waste of time. Most of the time, anything that works in 1.7.4, will probabaly work 1.8.3. I've been running a server for years, and i run 1.5.2 plugins without any problems. I think instead of asking someone for this, just, use the original code. If your going to blame someone, don't make it me, or bukkit.org, complain to mojang. They are still working on 1.9, and if you had any acknowledgement of any code, you could predictably see if this works. I won't guarentee that the code is working, but if you search hard enough, you might find some code about the motd. There are plenty of 1.8.3 motd plugins. Go grab you one, and Happy Holidays!

 

Thank You for your opinion! I do respect mojangs decision with this and I do know that it would be very useless because 1.8.3 or lower would be required. Though if anyone is willing to code this for fun that would be cool but I do not need it any more. Thank You everyone for all of your help!

Can I animate it?

 

You can do what you want in the config, where you hover over the player count and a text box will appear. Editable through config

 

I already have that though. I am looking to be able to animate it.

Update:
So I have now fully switched over to ServerListPlus and it is amazing! I don't know why I didn't use it before . Though if anyone is still willing to code this for me that would be amazing!
