  1. Hi there.

I know I've already recently posted a plugin request, but this will be my last one for a while, don't worry. I was wondering if a developer could create a plugin which allows a player to type /seen <player> and it'll tell them when they last logged in, if they're banned + a reason, the world they were last in and their last known co-ordinates in that world -- exactly the way that Essentials does it. The only difference would be that it doesn't give the IP address. The reason for this is because I don't want my staff to be able to grab the IP of players or other staff members without me knowing. I've searched for a while for plugins that do this, but I can't find any that are up-to-date.

The IP address given by essentials shouldn't do any harm as if im not incorrect isn't their actual IP, I'm working on a plugin called PlayerInfo, I might be able too add a ban reason but I'm not in any rush too get the plugin done and also have other projects I'm working on. I can't put any timing on the plugin unfortunately.

  3. @Mee8a It is their actual IP.

  4. When using essentials, only players with the "essentials.seen.extra" permission can see their IP and last logout...
Just give them "essentials.seen" and not "essentials.seen.extra".

  5. @AnarchyPVPServer I'm aware of that. As I mentioned, I don't want my staff to be able to see my IP, and admins on my server will have OP.

  6. If you don't want your staff to see it, give them essentials.seen and nothing else.

  8. Nebuler is right, if someone is OP but you don't want them to have the permission, I believe negating the permission will work. Although you might want to remove the "*" permission from them as this may interfere.

  9. Nebuler is incorrect. OP gives all permissions and cannot be overridden. Instead admins should be given near-op permissions (ex: *, -groupmanager.*, -essentials.seen.extra, -bukkit.command.op.give, -bukkit.command.op.take) and not actually be opped.
