Hey, so I've been looking into recreating Fortune's probabilities for a plugin that I'll be creating for my server, one thing that I'm unable to figure out on the Minecraft Wiki page is what this means "1 drop has a weight of 2, and each number of extra drops has a weight of 1.". What is the weight and how would I go about re-creating it? Here's the page that I'm reading from http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Enchanting.
I mean, It's not like anyone would know if you happened to "make up" the probabilities a bit, right? Otherwise "http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Fortune#Fortune" Might be a bit helpful. Numbers for days though. That page doesn't even consider coal or lapis's multiple drop/block ratio. So yeah. @Yoshlind
Imagine it like a hat of names. If you have your name in the hat 4 times, you have a weight of 4. You should be able to recreate it from there based on your own needs using a random number generator.
