    Plugin category: Utilities

    Suggested name:
    MobStacker

What I want: Replaces any number of mobs of the same type above 2 into 1 single mob of that type. This will happen in a 5x5 radius of the mob. Mobs that enter that radius will also join that mob type

    Example 1: http://prntscr.com/704oun (26 zombies and 17 skeletons)
Example 2: I have a zombie and skeleton grinder. 2 zombies spawn at the same time, they form into one with "x2" as their name. Another zombie spawns slightly after within 5 blocks of the "x2" zombie, the zombie that just spawned forms with "x2" becoming "x3". 3 skeletons spawn after this, forming 1 skeleton named "x3".

They all drop to my looting place where I kill them, I kill the "x3" zombie and one zombie is removed from the stack, making the name "x2". I get the regular amount of experience and loot as if it were a plain zombie.

I hope this isn't too confusing.

So, all hostiles within a 5x5 radius will join together, increasing the number identified by the display name, and when killed, drop a normal amount of experience and loot, correct?

Yup, but they have to be the same hostile mob to join together

This is a nice idea. Hope it becomes a thing :)

I am not on Bukkit Fourms very often, so if you want to take the project over, feel free too. I haven't gotten a chance to work on it.

  7. I'm trying to make this :)
But what should happen if zombies or something have a custom name or armor on them?

@FisheyLP custom name, don't merge. If they have armour, merge them.

Make them merge anyways, just remove the armor / name tags

  10. I'm done, but it is a little bit buggy (sometimes they multiplicate when for example 3 mobs merge in the same time, they become 9)

You need to enter these commands to only use the MobStacker module:
    /aio disableAll
    And
    /aio enable MobStacker

Will players kill each mob? Or just 1? I think if a player has an OP grinder, and it puts out 1k mobs an hour, and they have to kill 1 mob it would be unfair. Also if someone kills an mob with 500 mobs combined and all they all drop something that's over 1k entities on the spot. Would fire aspect tranfer to the next mob?? If a mob is damaged, say to fall damage does it happen to all the mobs?

  12. When a player kills one of the stacked mobs, hebonly kills 1 mob from the stack.

Ok, what about if a mob is already damaged? From fall damage, or lava?

So players can still have auto killing grinders. I just want to know if you have any bugs before I use it :D

When a stack of mobs is damaged, they are damaged how theyre supposed to be.
Lets say they fall from 23 blocks high, you can kill it with one hit and 1 mob is removed from the stack. All the other mobs in the stack get their max health again after this so they have full health.
And yes, they can use auto-grinders, it works the same as the manual killing I explained before
A known bug is: When more than 2-3 mobs stack at the same time, they often become a multiplier of it. For example, 3 mobs are near eachother, but when they stack, they actually become a stack of 9. I am going to fix that soon

Ok, nice plugin. I can see counting issues with the mobs, as 2 mobs = 3, and it can multiple. I'd love if you could fix this :D Great plugin anyway. Plugin disables fall damage for players.
