Scoreboard help

So right now I am trying to set up my plugin to check what slot the user has selected. But I can't think of the value... I was thinking player.getInventorySlot but that didn't work.. please help..

 

What would this be used to do?

 

@Faith Well right now I am using it with ProjectKorra and its for like a bending scoreboard and I want it to "Bolden" the ability on the scoreboard in coordenence to the slot its bound to. If that makes sense xD

And I think in order to do that don't I first have to get what slot the player currently has selected?

 

You could fill the player's hotbar with 9 items and check what item they are holding in hand.

 

@Faith Sadly that won't work projectkorra is a fast pace pvp plugin, is there any way else I might be able to do it becuase they may or may not be holding Items in a pvp arena
