Hey, I've been looking about, and so far I can't/don't dare trying to make this completely by myself. But I'm willing to learn, or just accept this from someone else. What I want to achieve is, I want moss to grow on the cobblestone I have on my server, much like grass, but only if that cobblestone is connected to a mossy one, or if it's connected to water, and I want it to grow like grass does, slowly and gently, is this possible and hard to achieve? If anyone can tell me how to do this, or if someone is willing enough to make a plugin for this already I'll be a happy man.
im interested in it and it seems easy so i might develop it just wondering if anybody wants a specic amount of time
Yeah this would be really neat... it should probably take much longer than grass does though, since moss IRL takes much longer than grass. It would be cool for showing the "age" of certain buildings as they would slowly turn mossy... in fact, some guys on my server were just talking about that a few hours ago, then I find this thread somehow. So, any ideas on just how the moss would grow? patterns? distance from water? how often? that sort of thing...
