Is it currently possible to spawn a HumanEntity?

Is it possible to spawn a HumanEntity yet? I'm interested in making a few NPCs for my plugin, and have basically everything I need finished, except the npc entity itself. (Right now there's just a sign saying something like "GEORGE IS HERE")

I've been following it for a while and haven't seen any mention of it, so I figured maybe I should ask in case I'm just too stupid to have found a way to do it!

i dont find a way too. Iam going to port my well known npc-plugin to bukkit. But i found no way to create Entity's.
Thats a shame. Please let me know, if this is changed.

not yet, you can only get a list of entities, but not actually write to it

I hope this is on the Bukkit's team to do list...
