Placing a block inside a player

Ok we have a server issue with a spectator system. If a spectator is standing on a block and someone alive places a block where the spectator is standing the block fails to place.

Now would anyone mind making a plugin where if you place a block, where a player/spectator is standing on you are able to place it and the player is inside the block?

How is the plugin supposed to know which players are spectating? You didn't mention which plugin you use for spectating, and it is possible that the plugin does not have an API that would allow another plugin to check if a player is spectating.

I cannot link a paid resource, and the developer is really busy and has not fixed this issue over a couple of months. I would be happy to provide some information, I dont know much about java.

Well, this plugin really can't be made without it.

I would guess that the spectating plugin goes with some sort of mini-game or other game type, so making another spectating plugin probably wouldn't be a good idea.

In more simple terms:

if you place a block where a player is standing, you are able to place it and the player is inside the block.

@toxictroop I could make it. Can you be more specific about the block placing failure? Does it place and then disappear or does it not place at all?
