Hey guys, this may be a very noob post as I am a bit behind in the 1.8 times now. but I've just noticed that Craftbukkit is no longer available. How am I to make plugins now without the API?

@DatCookiez Um, I do not know if I am allowed to say this, but I would look into Spigot.

@DatCookiez In other words he is saying that the Bukkit downloads still work, but the Craftbukkit ones don't. When writing a plugin, you use Bukkit. Craftbukkit is the server, the thing you put your plugin into, and what you log onto. So you do not need Craftbukkit to write codes.

The site clearly states that that's an unofficial site and not approved by spigot nor bukkit. For news and updates I'd refer to the official site: http://www.spigotmc.org/

@Ivan You will not get any spigot jar downloads at that page

Redistributing those files isn't allowed anywhere.

He has spigotmc.org, pretty sure that his name would pop up or that he at least mentioned that site himself.

@DatCookiez Well read through this, and down near the bottom it tells you how to obtain the Craftbukkit 1.8 jar. Note, you can only do this on a windows computer, and a Linix one. Just google how to get a Bukkit 1.8 spigot server, and you will work out how to make one,

Good luck, it is not impossible, but a little hard. :)
