Was actually considering making a thread on this myself. It would be a nice feature. Not sure if adding new blocks even if they use the properties and image of another is a current possibility with bukkit.
Well you wouldn't need to add a new block but instead alter the properties of the redstone block to allow it to stay on a vertical surface.
Yeah I use your plugin and it is perfect for transferring signals especially due to the fact that no repeaters are required for the distance between your sender and receiver blocks. The only advantage of the requested plugin is that it would streamline circuits for short distance transfer such as going up 2 blocks.
