I Need Help Finding A Portal Plugin That Suits My Needs.

I already have a portal plugin called 'Ancient Gates Reloaded' but I noticed a problem. There is nothing wrong with the plugin, I just need another feature. Since my portals lead to different worlds, I need it where when they walk through the portal, it sends them back to the spot they were in before when they were in that world. I need this because I have Survival in my server and when players walk through the portal in the Hub, they always spawn in the Survival lobby. I need it so when they walk through the portal, they spawn back to their original spot in Survival because if not, they might lose their home. Since the Survival portal is the only portal that needs this feature, I will keep 'Ancient Gates Reloaded' but I will also download another portal plugin just for that 1 feature. If anyone knows of a plugin that does this PLEASE don't hesitate to post a comment telling me which plugin it is. Also, if there is a way to do this with 'Ancient Gates Reloaded' please let me know too.

If you are going between multiple servers with BungeeCord, you can use BungeePortals. If they are just between worlds you can use WarpPortals.

I see your problem, take a look at iGates, but it needs another plugin to run called PluginBaker.

Otherwise, if you need the portal to execute a command when the players walks inside it, take a look at CmdPortals.

 

I used WarpPortals because I don't use BungeeCord, and it doesnt do what I wanted it to do. It just put me in the destination spot. But I wanted it to put me in that I was in before

Yes I tried it and it just sends me to the same spot every time when I walk through the portal. And in the WarpPortal plugin is there a setting in the config that allows me to do what I want it to do?

 

Now that I look at it, it seems that you set a place for them to Warp. The only plugin I know that does this is BungeePortals (which of course is for Bungee servers which are not supported here). I would keep trying lots of Portal plugins or tell people to set their home.

EDIT: Ah, I just realized something. The reason BungeePortals work is because your connecting to a brand new server. All of the others do not because you are connecting to a seperate world and you can't have two different locations logged (I'm assuming). I'm sure it's possible just currently hard to achieve.

 

Do you know anyone that would be willing to make a custom plugin that does this for free? This plugin shouldn't be they hard to do so it shouldn't be that hard to write. If you know anyone that would, tell them to Skype me. My Skype is: imyussy
