Hey guys, I just tonight tried to set-up a Bukkit server, however, when I set it up and try to go on it myself to test it out (clicking direct connect and then typing "localhost" while the start.bat file is running) it gives me this: "23:24:28 [INFO] /127.0.0.1:57981 lost connection" If you need the full string of what happened here it is: C:\Users\Home\Desktop\Bukkit Server>java -Xmx1024M -jar craftbukkit.jar -o true 23:24:24 [INFO] Starting minecraft server version 1.6.4 23:24:24 [INFO] Loading properties 23:24:24 [INFO] Default game type: SURVIVAL 23:24:24 [INFO] Generating keypair 23:24:25 [INFO] Starting Minecraft server on *:25565 23:24:25 [INFO] This server is running CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-1.6.4-R2.0 -b2918jnks (MC: 1.6.4) (Implementing API version 1.6.4-R2.0) 23:24:25 [INFO] Preparing level "world" 23:24:25 [INFO] Preparing start region for level 0 (Seed: -296532074632635796) 23:24:26 [INFO] Preparing start region for level 1 (Seed: -296532074632635796) 23:24:26 [INFO] Preparing start region for level 2 (Seed: -296532074632635796) 23:24:27 [INFO] Server permissions file permissions.yml is empty, ignoring it 23:24:27 [INFO] Done (1.859s)! For help, type "help" or "?" 23:24:28 [INFO] /127.0.0.1:57981 lost connection > any help is appreciated! Also, when I am done setting up the server, how do I get others on my server?
JordyPwner I followed the steps on a video, and I have a static IP now, but when I go in my Motorola router's settings to set it up, I always end up getting the "port is not open" message from my open port checker program. This could be that I assume my "Remote Host Address" is just my "External IP Address" as shown in the picture. Any ideas? JordyPwner UPDATE: I entered in information like this (in the picture) and it reads that the port is open but that I still get the "lost connection" error when I try and connect using "localhost". Zoreos Connect to your own server using 192.168.0.13. Make sure all the ports are forwarded to that internal IP also.
JordyPwner Yes, about 1 month ago I purchased a 26.95 (I believe that's the price) Minecraft account.
Zoreos minecraft is $20 ;3 also maybe your firewall is blocking minecraft in and out connections! So you might want to take a look at that!
JordyPwner Alright, do you have any idea what I should enter for "Remote Host Address" in my second photo?
