Could this work into a plugin?

Note: This is not a plugin request, I just want to know if it could be made into a plugin.
    1. Could a game work with the mechanics of the weeping angels, so that they could only move when a player(s) isn't looking at them. 2. Also would making them move depending on the light level work(so when it was really dark they could move) ? 3. Would a "blink" mechanic be possible?

    Thanks for your ideas. ~eth32

What are wheeping angels? I guess you're talking about AI controlled Entities?

    1. In certain ways. You can calculate it, but as you don't know the player's FoV and aspect ratio you can't make it 100% accurate.
    2. As you can check the light level of a block, why not?
    3. What do you mean by "blink"? Like teleporting or what? (That's totally possible if you only want a teleport...)

Weeping angels are from doctor who. Also by blinking, I mean like a eye blink mechanic.

1: Yes => http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/wheaping-angels/ , I've fallen a little behind on keeping it up to date so I don't think it is working correctly right now but if you were to try it on a previous server version (1.7.2-R0.1 or before with previous versions of the plugin) you would see that if you are looking at one of the angels they won't move but if you turn so they are out of your view (with normal FoV) they will start to move.
2: Yes, I think I may actually implement that in the above plugin now.
3: Yes, If you give a player both night vision and blindness their screen goes completely black with the exception of their arm (if they are in first person mode) and any other over top displays (inventories and such). You could make it do something with that to make players 'blink' but I feel as if that would get really annoying really quickly.

Back to the topic, I think this isn't possible, but perhaps it could be made into a mod.

Thanks guys, your answers have been really helpful! Another question, could the weeping angels be humans? So when Player 1 (weeping angel) is seen by Player 2 (survivor), Player 1 won't be able to move.

Yeah, that would be possible but stopping a player from moving can act strangely at times. What are you even looking to do with this anyways?

I plan to make this (or get this made, depending on time and money) into a minigame.

I could make this if you wanted. I've been looking for something new and smallish to work on. I would do it for free of course.

Really? Wow, thanks so much, this would save me so much effort!

Yeah, no problem. You'll just have to be a little more in depth with what you actually want though.

Ok, I'll just message you now with what I want in more detail.
