Cannot Connect to my Server When i'm Whitelisted!!!!!!

Hello, I made a whitelisted server so me and my friends could play minecraft togther. When I connect, it saids I'm not whitelisted but I am whitelisted on the server. And all my other friends could connect but I couldn't and I even tried copy and pasting my name to the whitelist via command prompt but i didn't work. PLZ Respond

Without providing a copy of the whitelist file I would have to guess it's a typo error.
Just try re-adding your playername to the end of the list. Type it in manually, don't paste it from somewhere else.
If that doesn't work please provide a copy of your whitelist and console log of error when you join.

 

Try oping to some friend and tell them to whitelist you. If you don't know how, its /whitelist add <username>

If your oped, you will automatically join the server even if whitelist is on. If this doesnt work, try to turn off your whitelist if you want to.

Try to do /whitelist list to see if your name is there

 

I already oped my self and tried to connect and it didn't work and I typed in my name exactly. Then, I typed in /whitelist list in the console and my username was already in there. And here is the whitelist and console errors

well, if you are a smaller server (even one at home), just turn off whitelisting, because people won't join if you don't tel them the IP or domain. Besides that, try deleting the file and then re-enter everything. And also, it lloks as if there are conflicting UUID's in the file (OpticJordon is listed as 1971be24-d63f-3459-b4d1-ee44c80cd1e5 in the server output, but the whitelist says 285f2412-a3a9-3298-85ac-22b98386ba6c , so there maybe a problem with the wrong UUIDs.

 

Well, if I turn off whitelist, there was this hacker that kept getting on the server somehow and so far I have like 7 bans and ip bans from the same person so I want to keep whitelist on. And I deleted the whitelist file and reentered everything via command prompt and it still wouldn't let me in

 

There's a plugin to prevent people with a name alternate to the one on their UUID first join name is here on bukkit called "NameDeny" if your having issues with people bypassing bans with new names.

 

Well, I turn off the whitelist and installed namedeny and it worked for like a day until one of my friends invited one of his friends that known for griefing and he decided to grief but I banned him. So I want to keep on whitelist.
