   Hi there,
   how can I set a lore / description of an item? I know that you can name an item using nameplates. But is there any way in minecraft / bukkit to add a lore / description WITHOUT the need of a plugin?

   ok, but is there any way to do it as a normal player (without op permissions)?
   and can "normal" players give items colored names?
