Since i've been unable to find any plugin that offer this kind of functionality, and i think many other server administrators would love to get a plugin for this purpose, i'm putting up this request. This will probably be a lengthy post, as i try to be as detailed as possible. Functionality: Everything controlled per-world Permission support Instant-break Flying Auto-fill inventory with specific blocks A virtual chest that is always filled with blocks Details: Everything controlled per-world Any functionality should be restricted to the worlds they are allowed on, meaning that if someone turns on flight, it will get disabled automatically on any world where it is not allowed, this should go for all of the functionality, and should ensure that servers can have a survival and a creative world, without playing being able to get advantages by heading into the creative world, and bringing stuff or benefits back with them. Permission support Simple permissions that allows the player the functionality of the permission, for example: "creative.fly", "creative.instabreak", "creative.chest", these are just examples, but should explain a little better what i mean. The functionalities themselves should still be limited to the worlds they are allowed on, regardless of what permission the user might have (so even if they have "creative.fly", if the world doesn't allow it, it wont work anyway) Instant-break There are a few of these kind of plugins already, but they all rely on tools, and are carried over from world-to-world. What i would like here is instant break regardless of what the player is using, be it a tool, a block or an empty hand. It is important for functionality such as this, not to carry over to worlds that don't allow it Flying So far i've only seen 1 plugin do this without having you walk on some glass carpet, "I Believe I Can Fly", basically I would like to see the functionality to let you fly like the aforementioned plugin, but without any need for a keypress. Instead it should be off by default, and can be toggled by doing /fly. this should make flying a lot easier while building, as you wont have to hold down a key to prevent you from falling down. Auto-fill inventory with specific blocks There is already plugins to have different inventories per world, but what i'm looking for here is for the server admin to specify what that inventory consists of, which in my case would be infinite stacks of the most used blocks. this inventory should reset any time the player enters the world, so that if any changes are made or they for some reason loose a block, they just have to leave and re-enter the creative world. This should of course support block data, so that coloured wool can be used etc. A virtual chest that is always filled with blocks Like above, it should be possible to specify what blocks, data type (if any) and amount. In my case it would be filled with the rest of the blocks with infinite stacks. This virtual chest should always be filled, even if they move stuff around it should reset the next time they open it. to open it, they should just have to use a command like /creative or similar. It is important that this does not clash with VirtualChest or Alpha Chest, as server admins might still want to use these on their other worlds. All the above information, is only to explain what i'm looking for. If you have a better way of doing any of the above, I will gladly listen to your suggestion. I also realize that some things might not be possible, just let me know what wont be possible so we can find an alternative way of achieving it or something similar. I would also like to say that i'm willing to pay for the initial plugin, so that it will be stable and safe to use on 1.5. I don't have a lot of money to pay for this, probably somewhere between 50 and 100 USD
I realy like this idea, special for the server with "creative" worlds. Reminds me of the old minecraft that u got that inventory with "every" block infinite I hope that someone is willing to make this plugin, would be realy awesome :O
Just to clarify, I'm only looking for the initial stable plugin, I'm not asking you to maintain it unless you want to.
You know, except infinite items, all of these are pretty much possible through other already available plugins as the OP essentially demonstrates. MultiInv is the only one I can think of not listed above which would assist. I don't personally agree with the idea of making it so that any click would instantly break things. I like the superpickaxe idea from WorldEdit (I think there's even a superpickaxe plugin by itself). That way, you aren't accidentally destoying everything by clicking, and at least have to have a wood pickaxe selected, and how much trouble is it to get one of those really? In my opinion, all that would really be needed is a plugin that would suppress the decrementing of items in the inventory on placing them, of course, with permissions and multi-world support. Wouldn't mind an improvement in flying mechanisms, but I don't think that would be realistically related in the same plug-in unless the whole thing were created and called Creative like the OP requests. Anyways, just my thoughts on the subject . Another thought is that apparently most give commands allow for a stack of -1 to make unlimited. I have. There is one that you can run, but it doesn't have multi world support, and conflicts with a lot of other plugins. It doesn't have permissions support or a virtual chest.
@Graloth Creative+ adds instant break, infinite items, drops/no drops, and inventory commands (all of those are configurable with permission) and works multiworld. Obviously, flying is best handled by a client mod (Zombe) and there are multiple plugins for chests with unlimited items. When i created this thread, i did use the search bar, and the only plugin that met all the things mentioned was marked as discontinued, and yes there are many plugins that do some of all of this, but so far i've found none that also limit it PER-WORLD, which is a critical requirement for me. But i have found a set of plugins that get it to work as i want it.
My post was mainly about the time i created this thread, as your post sounded a bit like "use the search button instead of creating a thread" response, true the plugin you posted does support it, but there was no plugin like that when i created this thread.
can some one plz make this or post a link to a topic that has this i realy wanna make a creative server
I'm just going to say, once more, as if you didn't read the thread (did you by the way?), USE THE SEARCH BAR! Read the thread, and you will find the answer to your questions? And, please (this one is just for me), I appreciate the orthograph effort, but can you put caps and punctuation, that will make your post more pleasant to read, and it will show you care about the answer enough to write a full post.
