Suggested Category: Not sure, admin tools? Suggested Name: Custom Snow Level What it would do: It would add a config file that would let you do 3 things: - Configure the Y level in which rain would turn to snow (default is 95) (Most important) - Configure whether water freezes (if possible) - Configure whether it snows, incase you just want freezing water (if possible) No Commands No Permission Nodes PS: Sorry if i did something wrong, this is my first bukkit forum post
Billsofat Looks interesting. I'll work on it after I work on another request that should be done in <= and hour
Zupsub 1. Is based on biome (can set biome or packets for per player, depending on how you plan to handle it), 2. Is event checking ( block form), 3. Not sure what is exactly requested there.
Maybe I understood the questing wrong. Do you want it snow on a block if it's y is below a specific one or do you want it rain and snow above the same block, but the rain is only visible above a specific y value and the snow only below a specific y value.
Necrodoom Zupsub Ok, maybe I didn't explain it very clearly. Here is what I meant on all 3 of these: 1: This is the actual level on which it changes to rain to snow, and water freezes. So what I mean is on extreme hills biomes (maybe more), when the weather is rainy, any block above Y:95 will get snow instead, and any water above 95 will freeze. If you still don't understand, hop on a minecraft world, travel to an extreme hills biome, and open F3, and go to a level above Y:95, and wait for rain, or do /toggledownfall. You will notice the block above 95 gets snowed on, and lower blocks get rained on. Then place water on a block above 95, and watch it freeze into ice. I said this is the most important, because that is what the whole plugin request is all about, changing the level. 2. So like I mentioned how water freezes above Y:95, this part of the config is to set whether the water will freeze. If you have it on True, the water will freeze and it will snow, if you have it on False, the water will not freeze, but it will still snow. That is of course if it's possible to do. 3. Like I said about rain changing to snow above 95, this will let you set whether the rain becomes snow. So True means it will change to snow like default, and water will freeze, False means it just rain (not change to snow), and water will freeze depending on that setting. Again, I'm not sure if this is possible.
justin_393 not too much of an issue still, http://jd.bukkit.org/rb/apidocs/org/bukkit/World.html#setBiome(int, int, org.bukkit.block.Biome) Just set a cold biome on these areas so it would snow. 2 might be a bit difficult to identify between artificial biomes and natural ones though. Although there's probably different ways to handle it.
