Zombe's Flying Mod Now Kicks You???

First of all let me say that the latest server build is brilliant and I am very pleased with the Bukkit guys for the hardwork they put into it (I am talking about the 1.5_02 build here).

This is not a complaint but rather a question regarding the flying mod, as I am aware, upon attempting to fly in the latest server build, you are instantly kicked for it, after testing it myself (Yes I am the admin) I too was kicked. Now I just wanted to know if there is a workaround to allow flying for players as my server is creative, it is technically a vital modification which I and several others need to complete our creations.

I hope I can hear anything about this soon

 

Set allow-flight=true in server.properties. This is a Minecraft 1.5 vanilla addition.

 

No word of a lie sir, I just found that out by mistake. It decided to randomly add that line in my server settings so it was indeed a case of just editing to the desired option. Thank you for the quick answer anyway .

 

hello, i am experiencing the exact same issue as the OP here, except for me i did set the allow-flight=true in the server properties and yet it still continues to kick me,
any ideas why? i cant figure it out.

 

Hmmm, that's odd. Do you have NoCheat installed on your server? Also, make sure to reboot after changing server.properties. (Actually I think editing it while the server is on is server-breaking so...)

 

allow-flight=false

Doesen't matter if you are OP with Notch's built in anti-flight.

Use the Nocheat plugin, to be able to fly and block others.

What? If you set allow-flight to false, that turns on the anti fly mechanisms...

 

yeah i agree it is realy odd, done everything as i had ought to, of course had the server off for the changes. set it to true, tried many times it wouldnt work, BUT after a night of leaving it alone, now suddenly it works, i dont get it, its like it wouldnt recognize the changes i made until much time had passed, idk mate, but atleast its workin now xD

Your are right, messed up, was like 4 AM
