A Server Connecting Plugin

To any developer reading this:

I need a plugin that can connect two servers together. I know that there are plugins like Multiverse and Multiword etc.. But I'm not running the two servers off of the same computer.

Here is the scenario:
My friend has just started a server. My friend and I want to connect the servers together. We were using the plugin Transporter to do the job, but the author disappeared off of the internet. If someone would like to create a plugin just like it or take over the project, my friend and I would appreciate it very much.

Now, before someone says it, this is possible, the plugin did exist.
