I got a broadcast plugin because its prefix is plain but I couldn't edit it in the FTP so I tried editing it on my computer. I found the .class file in the Jar folder and I edited the prefix with class editor and saved it but when I got rid of the previous one and put in the updated version the server didn't recognize that the plugin existed.
Any Help would be much appreciated.

I don't think that you mucking around in someone else's code is a great idea. Try to find another broadcasting plugin or one with the code posted online. If not it might be because you deleted the plugin yml, is your console getting errors when trying to run the jar when your server is started? Your editor could have also just messed things up.

Just ask the developer of the plugin doing this. (or find another plugin allowing it)

We do not support the modification of existing plugins. Contact the developer of the plugin.
