6 Days ago on my surver i was getting tired of my old map chunks curruption spamming the console (so i saved the map and generated a new one) so i renamed the surver and got some of my friends to play we were building on the new map on my surver having fun we made the spawn rules board and building a cool castle....

WHEN BAM!!! Power outage. D: 3 hours later power comes back on i reopen the surver and chunk curruption........ :/ i even have a surge protector.

Iv heard about chunkster il try it out now. (its not bad when i log in everythign looks ok for now but i know its ganna get worse over time :/ )

il post if it works i might need help getting chunkster to work

I've never run it myself but it doesn't look like the instructions are too bad. Just copy the .jar to your server location and run it using the command they give.

Do you not have a backup?

You should backup your server at least twice a week. I do it about once every 3 days or every new craftbukkit update or every time I build something that took hours to make. I also back it up to the Dropbox servers so if my computer's harddrive fails, it'll be safe in the cloud. Also get a saving plugin, like this one.

You enter the command in the cmd prompt, or on a mac Terminal or X11
