I was wondering if there are Bukkit functions that can detect and control lightning strikes yet. If so, has/can anyone make one where it hits the highest grounded (non-floating) block? As it is, it seems to just hit wherever, neglecting an easier path to ground.
There's already a function to get the highest block in a chunk, now to get it to act more realistic is to watch for when it starts to strike (or if you make lightning strike now and then) then just tell it to strike the highest block in the chunk or have it look in nearby chunks for the highest block to strike.
