So, the server only simulates areas that are nearby to players. This means that things like trees and other growy things don't actually grow when players are not nearby and/or online. I would love to see a plugin that would let me place some sort of widget (scarecrow?) that forces the server to act as if a player were standing there for the purposes of simulating stuff. Obviously, care would be needed to not blow the server away performance-wise. But it would be handy for touching up certain areas. If something like this already exists, I'm all ears also.
If people on your server know this, they can easily crash it, by placing them in every chunk they come. I don't think any plugin developers likes to do this...
Many admin-type plugins are like this. Assuming it has Permissions support, it could be restricted to admins only for touching things up here and there.
