   How would I add something to my plugin that checks a file (from GitHub for example) and tells the user if the plugin version is up to date or if there is an update available?

   Glumpz That updates the whole plugin. I saw something where it just checks the version in the plugin.yml and alerts the user if there is a new version like in KeybordPiano459 's post (https://forums.bukkit.org/threads/simple-update-checker.127993/) I tried this but it does not work for me (too old?).

   Icelaunche *sigh* It only downloads the updated version if you tell it to in your plugin.
