695 Can't place or destroy blocks ...

Hey

I updated bukkit to 695. Using MC 1.5_02. The problem is I can't place or destroy blocks, if i place a block its insta freeze/crash. If I destroy a block it does the destroy animation, then freeze/crash as soon as the block is destroyed... (and this on every single block placing or destroying)..

I also tried with absolutely NO plugins at all and same ...

 

Bukkit isn't updated to Beta 1.5 yet.

 

Bukkit is still only playable for 1.4 (AS OF RIGHT NOW) they may have fixed it to where you can log on but the blocks are still only meant for 1.4 so the code breaks/freezes when trying to play with a 1.5_02 Client. Use this to downgrade your client back to 1.4 then it should work. Also you may have to go back to Bukkit 684.

 

Sorry, i don't have an option... I NEED 1.5 ... Using 1.4 is just not an option at all

 

sure some plug ins are broken but I am running 689 and all the usual's logged on with no problems at all running the 1.5 client

 

loggin on is np, its actually doing something, i keep crashing in block placement or removal ...

 

what are you talking? playing since 689 on 1501 client 1502 server with bukkit....not all plugins work but rest works....at moment my testsystem is on 703 and it works

 

I'm saying I would stay off of a 1.5_2/1 server until they make it a recommended build and plugin developers have caught up with 1.5

No reason to play on 1.5 if all the cool stuff dosn't work.
