Hello, Apparently, squid, slimes, and ghasts do not despawn properly in vanilla minecraft. I can confirm that squids do not despawn properly in bukkit 677 as well. Over time, this can clog servers, disrupt mob spawn, and make Nether worlds essentially spawn-camped by ghasts. A reddit user did a great troubleshooting inquiry onto the underlying problems of mob despawning in vanilla Minecraft here, complete with missing function names and recommended fixes: http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/gpueh/ghasts_slimes_and_squid_dont_despawn/ Can anyone throw this together for us? I so wish I had the time to learn how to do this, but I simply do not. Thanks! --Norc
