My server is having problems yet again -> (CREEPERZ!) For 1, the server keeps saying its failing to bind the port But if you can help me, my server has also been having some other problems so if you could stay and help that would be great!
Check you haven't accidentally left another copy of that server running. Make sure you haven't got anything using java open on your sever. Use task manager on windows or the top command in console on mac and Linux computers to see if java is still running, and if it is, close it. *Warning: forcing java closed will close your minecraft server to shutdown without saving the world files. Only do this as a last resort or if you have saved your worlds recently* An alternative if you can still conect via the minecraft client is to issue a stop command to the server, but if the server has crashed, closing java may be the only way to fix the problem.
