Okay, so I did build a Bukkit mod very early on, when Bukkit first launched, however since then I've done basically nothing with it at all, and as I recall the first time I did it I had to do quite a bit of searching to find the answers. One thing I'm finding confusing for the package name: In the "Name" field, enter "<yourname>.<pluginname>.<yourname>.<yourpluginname>" (without quotes) So my name is 'azoundria', then my plugin name is killban (it's a simple plugin to allow me to kill and ban a griefer in one command). Then I need to put my name again? And what's the difference between pluginname and yourpluginname? The whole page has a worrisome: Needs Updating! This page contains outdated information and needs to be updated. In the meantime, you might find the answers you need in the source code and/or the JavaDocs. What's outdated and how worried should I be about it?
