I understand that you can use the //move command through world edit.

Is there a plugin that would allow you to group blocks and move them like in the zeppelin mod? It doesn't have to be fluent, choppy 1 block at a time is fine. If this doesn't exist, this would make a pretty neat plugin.

    Thanks, Wowie7450

EDIT: Movecraft does this. Is there any way to smooth out the movement? (Spout?)

You wouldn't be able to smooth it out without a client mod, and client mods aren't supported by Bukkit.

Unlocked. It is possible, and has been done. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/movecraft

This is very possible. Disguisecraft has the ability to be a block, and you can move around without the "jumpy" look. Who ever makes this, might want to spawn an entity, disguise as the block, set the path of the entity to move to designer location, then place the real block there and remove the entity. Simple, but a lot of packet manipulation/nms calls.

We looked into it, however the collision is terrible.

We continue to research smooth movement going forward, however at this time we have not found a satisfactory way to create smooth movement within the bounds that movecraft has to operate.
