So I'm testing out some plugins that would be useful to my server. The Plugin ChatControl seems very useful and I would like to test It out very much. A few days ago I found It on bukkit and didn't bother downloading as I was busy, today I go to download and I get a 404 Error. Does anyone know why this is so?
    dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/chat-control
If anyone can explain why Its down or give me a download link It would be very useful. Not sure If they updated and the page Is down until approved or what. I also had this error with with this plugin:
    http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/deforceop/

mazentheamazin It seems when I type /help chatcontrol It returns with : Null, or gives me a website that cannot be translated to english. Basically I just want this plugin to clear chat and to have custom login/disconnect messages.

    Have you looked at EssentialsChat?

There are modern ones that work fine, like death messages.

Deleted links to plugins which have been removed from BukkitDev. I suggest finding a replacement plugin :)

Yep, I agree. There are more than greater plugins on bukkitdev. Try like essentials chat lik the other guy mentioned.

ChatControl was really awesome. EssentialsChat gave customization to chat like color and format codes. But ChatControl isn't like that, it's an Anti-Spam, Anti-Ad, Anti-Cap, and No-Swear plugin. It's not like essentials chat. I think that was one of the best all-in-one chat protection plugins out there (ChatControl). Any reason why it was removed?

Potential replacements are: SpamHammer and EndSwear (but still using something like EssentialsChat)
