Bad chunk possibly?

Hey all; wondering if anyone else has seen this:

There's a certain chunk (or group of chunks) that seem to have gone bad. Most likely, it's a single area, and I notice the issue anytime that area is loaded (if I'm in it, or if it's "in view").

What I see from the player side is the client gradually slow down; then the server stops responding. If I'm watching console, at this point the client is actually disconnected from the server for "overflow", but the client isn't notified / forced off.

On logging back in, the character will fall "forever". They may eventually land, but only a single chunk is loaded if they do; and any attempt to load any more (such as walking to the edge) results in another non-notified "overflow" disconnect.

Using a warp or spawn seems to work fine.

I was noticing this with the last build I was running (one of the first recommended builds, I apologize, but I'm not certain which. (something in the 500 series perhaps?) I'm currently running the latest recommended (617), and seeing the same behavior.

Any idea what might be wrong, or what I can do to fix it? I'm hoping for a non-destructive method, if possible, since it happens to be the area I've been working on lately.
