help me I am having a lot of difficulty fowarding my ports. I have a belkin router. I enter all of my information correctly and and click "apply changes" and it does it's countdown from 45. When it is done it will either go to the start screen and will say "you will need to log in before changing any settings" or it will disconnect from wifi until the countdown is done. I really need help!
Port forwarding is not a CraftBukkit issue as all servers behind a router require it. There are countless tutorials on YouTube for port forwarding on Belkin routers. The only thing that you might not get from a tutorial is that even if you have forwarded the port properly, you may need to disable your computer's firewall(s) or allow traffic on port 25565 for the server to accept connections.
I tried removing the firewall but I do not understand entirely what "port traffic" is. I followed all of the tutorial instructions but nothing has worked. I do not have a modem either.
