Boss health manipulation

Hey, just wondering.

You know that boss health-bar on the top of your screen that appears with an enderdragon or a wither? How do I change the name of that? Pretty sure that's possible, but have not been able to figure it out.

Not changing the health itself, just the name.

Do I have to actually spawn in a boss entity, and change it's name? Because then I'll have to hide it somewhere in the map. I would prefer for that to not be the case..

Any help? No code as of yet.. have not been doing plugins for quite some time now.

 

The boss health bar will only show up if there is a boss nearby. So yes, you would need to spawn one. You could just spawn it under the map.

There is an API on the DBO called BarAPI.
