Hello everybody on the Bukkit forums, my name is Mazen. I am a 13 year old boy running a server, and it peaks at around 200 Players. It is a hub server and with 3 Boxes. 1 Of them is for the hub area and the server proxy and the other 2 is for game types. Only one of the servers peak at 200 players. And recently it has been really laggy. Its server lag, not client lag. These are the specifications of the dedicated server I am running them on. A Intel Xeon E3-1245v2, 32GB Ram and 2 120GB SSD's. I dedicate all the specifications for that specific server. The plugins I run on the server are the normal Prison Plugins. All I have extra is Color4Signs, World Edit, Voxel Sniper, BuyCraft and MineResetLite. PLEASE HELP ASAP. Thanks, Mazen
ShadowDog007 What do you mean by that? Sorry about that. Its just that's how I comment on the forums.
mazentheamazin No, timings logs cpu time used by different parts of minecraft. Check bukkit.yml, make sure 'plugin-profiling' is set to 'true'. Then type '/timings on' when you get the lag, and '/timings merged' a while later. (About a minute should be fine) After that, it will create a file in timings/timings.txt. Upload the contents of that file to http://paste.ubuntu.com And post the link to it here.
mazentheamazin http://aikar.co/timings.php?url=6108663 Yep, seems someone has a LOT of tile entities in that world. Probably redstone clocks, could also be furnaces, hoppers or brewing stands.
I fixed it, turned out there was some plugin incompatibility with Spigot :? I didn't understand it however its now fixed. Thanks for your help ShadowDog007!
