Are you using the latest craftbukkit build? If so, that update has broken a lot of plugins (including mine). An update will be a long shortly

If you got the Click event error then that's coz you used an bukkit update passed 561 this plug-in currently fails to load on 561 and it failed before 1.4 update of minecraft..

He his working on an update so just wait :)

Just thought I'd drop this error off here; I assume it pops up just because this plugin hasn't been updated to 1.4 or 617 CB yet. I hope it helps in some way, shape, or form.

Sorry I probably just did something wrong. I'm a total newb to this but when I download the .zip file and unzip it I get a folder called MobRider and when I open it I get a a file called "com" a file called "META-INF" and another thing named "plugin.yml" But there was no .jar to be found to put in the plugins folder.

I don't understand what I did wrong. (I am on mac if that makes a difference)

You open the zip and inside is a jar file. Copy the jar file to your plugins folder.

Without looking at previous post in reference to this I have had a problem downloading jar files with Internet Explorer 8 changing the jar to zip for some odd reason. Rename the .zip file to .jar and it should work. At least this is whats been happening to me on the actual server machine I'm using.

In this case the file is actually a zip file.
(and I doubt he is using internet explorer on a mac ;))

Sorry I figured it out when I unzipped the .zip it was automatically unzipping the .jar
Thanks for the help anyway though!
and thanks for the plugin its awesome!

I just had the same problem (i'm on mac(not sure if that makes a difference)) but what was happening was when i unzipped the .zip it would automatically unzip the .jar so what i did was I unzipped it with another application for me on mac I used "The Unarchiver" to unzip it which gave me the .jar file

Let me know if this helps!

can you please include a jar-only link for the purposes of upgrading easier?

Edit: I see the archive only contains a jar. Why not post a link to download the jar directly?

    Edward Hand

The main reason is one of versioning. If you look in the directory the file is in, there are zip files for every prevopis version of the plugin. (People running older versions of bukkit sometimes need to use older versions).
My other plugins also contain the source code along with the jar (although I'm aware this one doesn't)

Left clicking somewhere with leather spawns a cow in the air. Can you fix this please?
Im running 617, with only mobrider on and this occurs. Otherwise, great plugin, lots of fun. I just dont want armies of cows everywhere XD

I can certainly see the value in offering previous revisions for download, however offering previous versions and offering a jar-only link are by no means mutually exclusive.

    ?OMG COWS !?
a few people have had this problem and the armies of cows (over 1500) can make a bit of lag .
other than that THANKS AGAIN BOSS !
really enjoy your plugin and i dont want to have it out for too long but the cow armies are a bit RIDICULOUS ! :) hopefully you find the issue without any trouble. I wish you luck and thanks again we love this plugin !
