HELP PLEASE! Im loosing lot of players because in the 1.5 client the server shows as its closed but it isnt! If you log in with the 1.6 client, you see that server is online. So the problem is, how i do so in 1.5 clients ppl see that the server is online and the cross saying "Out of date"? (Im Using CraftBukkit development build: CraftBukkit Version git-BUkkit-1.5.2-R1.0-16-g1d933a4-b2805jnks (MC: 1.6.1) (Implementing API version 1.6.1-R0.9-SNAPSHOT)

    CraftBukkit Development Build is 1.6

    That could be your problem.

I upgraded my server to 1.6 and looked at it with a 1.5 client to see '???' all over the place.

Well, wich bukkit 1.6 dev build i should use so my server appears Online but with the "out of date" cross of 1.6.1 instead with the "???"

    Bump?

No, i have my Own dedicated server and i Run it in the SSH directly

    Have a possible answer.
These other servers aren't running Bukkit but are running Spout or Forge or whatever those weird hipster alternatives are.. Maybe that's why they are able to display 1.6.1 correctly to older clients.
I wrote my host with your exact question and it seems "that's just the DEV build right now".
The good news is that if newer clients join (ones using the new launcher) they will see you have updated. :)
I'm in the same boat man, I haven't seen 1/4 of my players since we updated!
    Good luck!

I have the same problem. Once I updated to 1.6.1 it shows ??? instead of it being outdated and I've lost so many players.
