what a silly question, the plugin devs have to update their plugins and you have to put the new plugin in plugins folder!!!
Would it be possible for you to not be so condescending and snarky? If you think its a silly question, don't respond, or respond in a respectful way, such as " we just had a major update and you have to get the updated plugins from your plugin dev", is it really so tough to be nice?

The thing is, there are dozens of posts just like this. If the OP spent any time looking around before posting he would have seen that nearly all plugins are not up-to-date yet and that he just needs to be patient and monitor the status of the plugins he needs.
You are right, there are lots of posts like this, that does not mean you need to be respond. Just because someone doesn't match up to "your" concept of competent or even smart, it does not mean you need to answer the post or be rude or call people names or say they are silly or anything else. No one is twisting your arm to answer a post, comment on a post or even be here on the forum. All I am trying to say is why can't we all just be nice? I was not commenting on the question/op's post, the validity or their post or anything else, I was commenting on the response.
I agree with you, but the manner in which andre responded was not so terrible. He did not call the OP stupid, or tell him to get out, or act in an overtly rude manner. Also, no one said he was not 'competent or even smart', but simply that he did not even do the basics, which are: read the stickies and see if anyone else is having the same issue before making a new thread. Because he did not put in the minimum amount of effort to help himself, it is not surprising that he was provided with less than stellar responses.
