rguz10 There are plenty of guides for server hosting with multicraft for PC's. I need one for a mac because the PC guides don't help at all.

Well at this point you are no longer hosting on your Mac. You just need to know how to upload the files, download them, and edit them. Correct?

I got it. I figured it out. No need for a guide for that then. I think I want a guide for scheduling and commands though.

what ever you do.. Don't go with redstonehost.com
There servers are so bad -_- .. Just creating a new world brings the server to 70%+ CPU and it also takes like a minute

tanveergt5: Even with 4GB Ram and clearlagg CPU usage and ram usage is all the way up to 100% and I'm getting a heck ton of 'warning can't keep up' messages.

Use http://minecrafted.net. Best host you'll ever find no matter how long you look.

With their summer deal (Found on their MinecraftForums post), you can get prices as low as $3/GB.

AwesomeMarioFan That's what I'm trying out right now. I'm having a few difficulties with it but I think I'm starting to understand how it works. The only thing I really want to figure out how to do is use the commands and scheduled tasks.

I'm not very happy with how much ram my server is taking up, even though I chose the 4GB option. Not even 8GB is enough. I don't understand what's wrong with my server.

DokuProductions You should setup scheduled tasks (via multicraft) to restart your server every 1 hour if it is empty and once every 24 hours at a time where there are hardly anyone online. This will keep your server running well. Update bukkit to the latest RB and fully update all your plugins to their latest versions. Create a ticket with your hosting company for better help they can identify the issues easier then we can if there good.

    To create a scheduled task:
    1. Go to scheduled tasks and click 'New Task'
    2. Name it whatever you like
    3. Leave the Status as scheduled
    4. Leave the Scheduled time
    5. Set the interval to 1 hour
    6. Set the command to 'Restart if empty'
    7. Leave arguments clear
    8. Set 'Run for' to 'Server'
    9. Click 'Create' and your done!

fussionzz97 Thank you! I had done that last night before I went to bed, thinking it would be best to do that since ram hikes up pretty fast on my server, even when no one is on it.
