Adding perms to a group.

1)I have essentials group manager. But nowhere is there a place to add permissions to a group. Under Essentials Group manager i have to folders groups.yml and user.yml are these the correct folders? Or did i mess something up? Do i need a different plugin?
2) How am i able to create more groups to add different permissions to. Such as donation ranks/helper or other types.
P.S. Sorry guys i'm a noob at this please help

also, you could do the exact same with the GM groups.yml.

As said, PEX has a load of issues as stated in that document. I would stick with GroupManager, bPermissions, Privledges or PermissionsBukkit and stuff.

 

I found GM to be easiest

 

With Group Manager:

1. /mangaddp groupname permission

2. /mangadd groupname

That was easy. Do everything with in-game commands, not editing the files. See the commands here:

The only things you need to edit files for are to change the world mirroring and to set a default group.

 

necrodoom themadman300 Thanks guys, I just realized the errors of PEX most of my server crashes were from it xD and now I know why the ops were broken. I'm switching to bperms or GM right away.
