NO MOBS SPAWNING???

    So I have a 1.5.2 bukkit server for me and a friend and we have the plugin essentials, factions, chestshop, and iconomy. so we are playing and i realized no monsters are spawning and there are an excess amount of animals. now i checked the server properties and monster are set to true so im lost can someone please help me

    Iroh

    Try /spawnmob <mob> and see if it spawns. If not something is blocking it. Search through the essentials config for mob.

    I'm thinking it's EssentialsProtect or maybe WorldGuard

    Animals are spawning, mobs are not. He already said he checked the server.properties.
