I was thinking about a plugin that fetches a player skin, or head texture from a url, and makes a head with that texture. What do you guys think? Also if someone makes this plugin, you don't have to, but it would be nice if you gave me credit for the idea.
Ultima77 You can create an player head when you know the name of the player, skins that aren't hooked to an player are impossible
An interesting idea is to work with the Citizens plugin using this method. Many complain over the non-customizable skins, and at the moment there doesn't seem to be a good fix for it. What if you could allow your NPC's to wear these heads (with player names) and they would keep their name, but have another head-skin.
Please search plugins first... This is no way original or new. Here's a commonly used one. Mark this as filled as it is already fulfilled by other plugins.
CraftBook can allow players and most mobs to drop their heads at a configurable chance, WorldEdit allows you to place heads with certain names..
