Okay. So here is the problem. I am using PermissionsEx. Everything works fine permission wise, permissions are all setup correctly. However whenever I try running my server the chat does not format to my liking. Its just plain and colourless just like any vanilla server. I don't know what the problem is and cannot find the reason for it. Here is some additional information - If I use /afk or /list etc., these commands can recognize the prefix and suffix that has been set - I have the latest version of PEX - I have tried many different chat plugins - No error messages Thanks in Advance!
Use ChatManager, which is bundled with your pex download, start your server with the ChatManager.jar in your plugins folder and then edit the file at plugins/ChatManager/config.yml. At the top of the file set enabled to true, save the file and reload/restart your server. If you still don't see any prefixes, post your server.log (excerpt), your pex permissions.yml and your plugin list on pastebin.com
