  2. Yes it probably something that will be implemented later on, if you want to be sure though id suggest adding a feature request on the github bug report page.

    Another bug. None of my NPCs are showing up. Does it have anything to do with my locations file(pasted)? Is it in the right format?
     
  4. Well this will go wrong somewhere anyway, because you have NPCs with id 100 and you currentID is set to 47, do you get any errors?

    the format is correct however.

    Also make sure that the following is correct:
    use craftbukkit 556
    use permissions 2.5.4
    IF using multiverse rename the Citizens.jar to zCitizens.jar

    I got a response about this earlier, but as I haven't seen anything recently, I was wondering if you'd like a graphic for this thread? If Neonmaster is still working on it, that's fine, I just thought I'd ask again, in case he wasn't.

  7. Yea i think Neonmaster is currently working on one, since i was the WIP yesterday, if we change our mind about it (in case we dont like the one Neon made :p) we will be sure to ask you about it.

    Hi there, for some reason I can not select any of the NPCs. Right clicking does nothing. Idk if this has anything to do with this but in the permissions plugin i just used 'citizens.*' instead of typing out everything.

    For some reason, some npc's don't show up in the world after restarting. I still see their information in the files in the plugin folder however.
     
  10. Hi, please check your setting file, there is a setting there calles "seclect-item", only the itemsw ith that ID will be able to select NPC's if you want all items to select NPC's put a * there, and 0 is for bare hands.

    Well weve heard this before and mostly the causes were one of the following:

    make sure that the following is correct:
    use craftbukkit 556
    use permissions 2.5.4
    IF using multiverse rename the Citizens.jar to zCitizens.jar

    Now im off to bed, so my support is closing for today. ill be of further help tomorrow.

    And also why when I right click an NPC does it just say that I have selected it instead of saying something?

    You're obviously right clicking it with the select item check the config for it.
    May also be that they are down as the sane item and so select is taking priority.

    In the config file, change the 2nd ID's to 00,0, so your fist activates them talking.

  17. Had 34 NPC's loaded up in 1.06 and converted them to 1.07. A great plugin just got better, thanks for all the improvements. Feels much more polished now :)

    Why arn't my bots saving???? I downloaded the Java only file do I need to make the folder to save the npc data into?

    Fantastic work Fullwall, Thempc, and Neon Master! Thanks for putting in all this hard work.

    In regards to a suggestion for future versions -- perhaps adding a permission for selecting npc's would benefit this plugin? I suppose one could set the select item to something that cannot be acquired by non-admins, but it would be nice to simply have a permission for this, if possible.

    love the plugin, however my server is having a problem with NPC's disappearing after a bit of time, they are still in the flatfile but don't appear in world
     
  22. The Jar only file is only for upgrading to a newer version, if you start using the plugin for the first time download the full zip file, in the file there is a Citizens folder included which also needs to be extracted to the plugin folder.

    Well the 1.07 version has a build in conversion from 1.06 to 1.07, and if you didn't mess up your 1.06 safe file to much is converts nice and smoothly ;)

    Thats indeed a very good idea, ill be sure to add that soon so it will most likely be there in 1.08

    Alright, questioning time :p, did you receive any errors while this happened, and what happens when you reboot the server? do they appear again? also, make sure you have the following correctly:

    @thempc Glad ya liked the vid :D didn't show the /npc reset command in the vid because didn't notice it haha
     
  24. Please download the 1.07b version, this version has some minor bugfixes that make the plugin more stable and more reliable.

    We're running the latest recommended build of craftbukkit and GroupManager
    And we already renamed the file, no errors appeared and when we reboot the server they still aren't there

    Can you try downloading 1.07? Please be sure to download the full ZIP if you haven't.

    And fullwall i think everyone switches to 1.07 by now :p

    Lol, yes we are running 1.07 and our server is public, it can be accessed from minecraft.fuyuri.com

    Do the NPC's disappear if they are in a chunk that gets unloaded? cause if so that might be it, stupid question i know.
