Map Pain

Ok, so here's my problem. I'm making a plugin to display images from the internet on maps, but when I use getServer().createMap(player.getWorld()), it creates the map and displays just fine, only all maps are given the ID zero. If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
