I just updated my java, and it messed up Eclipse, so I redownloaded Eclipse, and now it looks ALOT different to the old one.. The old one was a blue background ( Light blue, and white etc ) and now, its just plain and white, and disgustingly ugly.. ( I also just installed a theme that should've changed it to the dark grey/black ) I actually got no idea, but can someone please help me ? Here's a picture :

*NOTE* I didn't know where to put this, so if Admin reviews please move it :)

XDemonic25 seriously or just joking? It looks SOO BAD..I only want the white parts changed, not the black parts, and GodzOfMadness , your help thing didn't really help.. I went through it all and screwed around, just nothing happened.

kreashenz make sure you applied your changes and if you have done so then try and restart your eclipse and if it still did not take effect then i don't know what to tell you

You should't have honestly reinstalled eclipse and not backed up projects because of a silly layout

I had moved them to a different workplace, and deleted the old one, and I know it was moved because they were there before.

If you have the project files, just go to File -> New -> Java Project, put there the name of your project and eclipse will load it.

  12. How to get the epic blackness? I can't get the appearance settings to change to anything like that :'(

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the Eclipse Color Scheme plugin and the selection of themes are immense :D

  14. Yeah, found it, I had to install the Eclipse Color Scheme plugin in order to do it though, the manual way is too complex xD

Ok guys if you want to talk about eclipse themes then talk about it on another forum (not to be rude) but this is a bit off topic so guess where the forum you should be talking about this on? :p
I'm fine with a little off topic conversation on a thread but this is starting to be a new conversation so more likely to go to another forum am i right?

GodzOfMadness you are correct, I did not expect this to become a huge off topic thing..
