All servers that use motd manager and type the motd with colors and special characters doesn't show the query the correct MOTD and PLAYER, you can look here, the first server have motd manager : (sorry for my bad english)

Only on that site. When you color your motd, you really just send the characters. The Minecraft client replaces them with colors, but obviously the server lists don't. The only way to fix that would we checking if the pinging IP is a serverlist, and if it is, return a different motd.
