   After a long break, i'm going to update my plugins - But apparently, the bukkit scheduler is deprecated! Why? And what are the new methods?

   There is a new system to using a scheduler .
   http://jd.bukkit.org/rb/apidocs/org/bukkit/scheduler/BukkitScheduler.html
   You should be using runTask or one of its many variants.
